Tipico Becomes The 25th Sportsbook To Open For Business In Colorado

Tipico is the latest entry in the seemingly ever-expanding world of online Colorado sportsbooks, opening its virtual doors Wednesday.

This marks the second state — New Jersey was the first — that the German-based company has begun operations in.

“We are thrilled to announce Tipico’s continued growth within the United States,” Adrian Vella, the CEO of Tipico U.S., said in a press release. “We look forward to continuing to grow our U.S. footprint with exciting announcements in the pipeline that will change the game for avid sports fans and bettors.”

Tipico is in Colorado thanks to its relationship with Century Casinos. This is the third online sportsbook Century has partnered with, alongside Circa Sports and bet365. Overall, Tipico is the 25th online sportsbook to enter the state.

Two states, one app

One item that makes Tipico stand out is the technology behind the scenes allows for a single log-in experience across states. Meaning, if a bettor was to travel to New Jersey, they wouldn’t have to download a different app for the state they’re in. Accordingly, any money in a Tipico account would be available in any state that offers Tipico.

“This is an exciting moment for Tipico as we continue to add exciting new features for U.S. bettors,” Vella said. “Captivating users and elevating their betting experience is at the core of Tipico’s development and growth plan, and we’re proud of the capabilities that our app and our proprietary technology stack offers.”

Vella also said in the release he expects Tipico to enter more states in the coming months.
