Colorado Avalanche Win Third NHL Stanley Cup In Team History

The Avs ended the Lightning’s two-year dominance in the National Hockey League by defeating Tampa Bay 2-1 in Game #6.

The Colorado Avalanche are NHL world champions once again!

For the first time in over two decades, the Avs have hoisted the National Hockey League Stanley Cup – this time upon unseating the two-time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning 2–1 in Game #6 of the 2021-2022 Stanley Cup Finals.

Colorado was a consensus betting favorite to win the Stanley Cup when the 2021-2022 regular season opened, and led DraftKings Colorado bettors who placed a preseason futures wager on the Avalanche to a +475 reward on Sunday night at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

New online sports bettors who are located in the state and are at least 21 years old can sign-up via COBets now for a verified account and receive a very generous welcome offer from the legal online sportsbooks that are currently available in the Centennial State.

Colorado Rockies In “Must Win” Mode Heading Into July

The Colorado Rockies (32-42) are hosting the NL West division leading Los Angeles Dodgers (45-27) at Coors Field through Wednesday, and will host the Arizona Diamondbacks (33-41) over the weekend before traveling to those teams’ respective stadiums starting next week.

Rockies starter Chad Kuhl pitched a 3-hit, complete game shutout Monday against the Dodgers to start Colorado off on the right foot with a 4-0 victory – trimming their division deficit to “only” 14 games heading into Tuesday night’s game in Denver.

The next dozen games represent a golden opportunity for Colorado to pick up games and make a move to narrow the Dodgers’ NL West lead heading into the All-Star Break in mid-July.

Absent a momentous run over the next three weeks, the Rockies will be staring at a near-impossible postseason pennant chase due to their current standing in last place of the National League West division.

However, if Colorado is able to win at least 4 out of 6 games against the division-leading Dodgers and take at least 5 out of 7 games from the Diamondbacks – they will be much better positioned to take another 5 out of 7 in their pre All-Star Break homestand against the Padres and Pirates.

Such a winning streak would also draw the Rockies very close to .500 for the 2022 MLB Regular Season – which is pretty much a prerequisite for any aspirations of a postseason run once Colorado’s regular season action resumes on Friday, July 22nd against the Brewers.

Denver Broncos Will Open Regular Season At Lumen Field Vs. Seahawks

The Denver Broncos will be involved in the first Monday Night Football show of the 2022-2023 NFL regular season when they travel to Lumen Field in Seattle to take on the Seahawks on September 12th.

On Sunday, September 18th, the Broncos will host the Houston Texans at Empower Field at Mile High. Ticketmaster prices for Denver’s NFL regular season home opener are listed (as of late June) at just under $200 for the upper decks and close to $1,000 at the 50-yard line behind the home team. The cheap seats for the September 12th MNF game in Seattle are about twice as expensive while the front-row sections are of comparable price.

If you’re located in the state of Colorado and are 21 years of age or older, you can enjoy the action at your favorite land-based sportsbook or try your luck by placing real money wagers online at one or more of the numerous legal Colorado online sportsbooks.

Best of luck with your sports betting picks and congratulations to the 2021-2022 Colorado Avalanche for their Stanley Cup victory!
